Jordan Shaw, Founder & President
Jordan Shaw launched Gamechangers Strategies in 2025 with two decades of political consulting and strategic communications experience. Shaw spent eight years at a national political and public strategies firm as EVP and partner before founding Gamechangers.
Shaw has served as a senior advisor, general consultant, and media consultant to multiple US Senate, US House, gubernatorial and other statewide campaigns across the country. His experience includes battleground races in states like North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Virginia, and advising GOP committees.
Shaw has led strategic communications projects across a wide spectrum of corporate sectors, focusing on issue advocacy and political intelligence. His love for sports has created opportunities for public relations and media management experience within the sports industry.
Shaw's early career includes time as a US Senate Chief of Staff and campaign manager, and communications roles in the NC & VA legislatures.
Julia Norfleet, Vice President of Strategic Communications
Julia joined Gamechangers Strategies in 2026 after previously serving in Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin’s administration as Special Assistant to First Lady Suzanne Youngkin, where she spearheaded the First Lady’s communications strategies and led key office initiatives.
Prior to Richmond, she began her political communications career in Washington, D.C., where she served in integral capacities at two public policy think tanks, including the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). At AEI, she directed promotion efforts for the Domestic Policy Studies teams and played a central role in launching the department’s public polling project focused on issues shaping American daily life.
Julia brings strong writing skills, strategic messaging experience and an organizational mindset to the Gamechangers team. A North Carolina native, Julia holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
